Steamboat buffet with the close friends at tiong bahru again.
With the close friends, it's always eating & more eating. And we came to realize that we have been doing it for almost every weekend. And that we should put a stop to it unless we go for sports activities.
Took part in the 4 Million Smiles some time back. Saw lotsa posters in MRT station, bus stops, buses and taxis but never did go through them.
One morning, while waiting for my company transport, saw one of those SBS feeder bus again. Thought i should just scan through to see if there is any familiar faces. And to my surprise, my face was in it. Barely noticeable.
Made me feel like laughing. BB msg me one morning on his way to work to tell me "I saw your face on the bus" haha.

26 Aug 2006 - ECP Picnic She have been almost all of the places on the monopoly. And we were joking telling her that the places she visited within her short 3 months stay here is probably more than the places anyone of us have been to. Impromptu decision to watch movie with the close friends at suntec city so had to bid an earlier goodbye to diane. Parting was never easy, esp when you know there is a possibility that you might never ever see the other person again and that she is living at the other end of the world.
Finally did a weekend activity together. A picnic by the beach at east coast park. Been wanting to do one for a long time but it's just so hard to get everyone together on weekends. As weekends are usually reserved for family, friends & loved ones. Kept my sat free cos besides being a get-together picnic it's also a farewell for our US attachment student.
Met up with the rest at bedok central to get some food stuffs. Lotsa food & also lotsa leftovers. Shared and bought a uniquely singapore version of the monopoly for diane as her farewell gift. 
Played frisbee and captain ball on the beaches. Everyone had fun.
Dinner's at mac and watch the guys played a few rounds of pool & billard.
Anyway lotsa memories was left behind.
Met up with BB & the close friends at suntec. Late dinner at Carls JR and watched Ghost Game. Movie was so-so, not that bad. Made a big de-tour from the cinema to shaw tower to get the car as all entrance at suntec was closed at that hour. It like so near yet so far.

Tried Murtabak for the first time ytd.
IS brought us to this famous one opp Mohamed Sultan mosque - Singapore Zam Zam. Ordered plain roti prta, chicken, mutton & sardine murtabak to share. Very nice. I love it! After which, brought the two overseas students for alittle walk ard kampong glam.
Tourists visits for them & for us too.
Would not even think of gg there if not for them.

Enjoyable night-out with the gals on wed.
Glad that everyone came. Dinner at New York New York - Citylink followed by drinks at dbl O to celebrate lin's belated bday.
Lotsa fun. Pictures says it all. And yes, pictures taken using my SE K800i. Anyone getting a new phone should consider this.

Collected my 3G sim card at PS on sun.
Afterwhich, went back to JP and caught yet another movie with the close friends. My super ex-girlfriend. Which i thought was not very gd. Din really enjoyed it.
Movie ended & went to boon lay hong kong street chun kee for dinner.
Coincidentally, all the three guys will be bz this weekend. So we will have to meet up on the following week instead. Hopefully by then, SL would have received our online purchased clothes.

Kite-flying on sat.
So hard to fly the kites. Only managed to do so after multiple fail attempts & a couple of runs ard the field.
Packed food & tidbits there for a mini picnic. On the way there, turn in to marina pier to take alook at the new pier. Nice structure. Think the view is even better at night.
Besides kite-flying, another reason for gg there is because we wanted to watch the fireworks by Team France. We had quite a gd view, though it was abit far & we only managed to see the high ones but still it was magnificent. Saw alot of ppl moving to the seaside area, which was what we wanted to do initally. Glad that we stay put at our location which in the end turns out to be of a better view. haha. Our laziness to move our mat to another place has left us with a gd view of the fireworks.

After the fireworks, packed our stuffs and then left for dinner at Geylang. The jam was terrible with us following close to KR's car. Took us abt 2hrs to reach Geylang. Had the usual famous food at Geylang, beef hor-fun, frog leg porridge & hao jian.
Earlier in the afternoon while at JP waiting for JX to pick us up to marina we bought a PSP set which comes with a 20 in 1 accessories set going off at $250 at a charity bidding event. After a couple of bids, BB bided for it for $310 and we got it. haha. Our first ever bidding. Yeah! Yeah! I got a PSP. Nw waiting to get the memory stick & games so that i can start playing.
Buying a PSP is just so unexpected.
Have never thought of getting one before.

08 Aug 06 - National Day Eve.
BB promised to bring me to the fireworks festival. And he did.
And we have got quite a clear view of the singapore team fireworks at esplanade.
Fireworks were gd as usual. I love it.
Going to watch it at marina south again tmw.
And i got a pair of crocs shoes from BB, which i wore it straight on the spot.
Cos the strap of the new heels i was wearing keeps sliding off.

09 Aug 06 - National Day.
Steamboat dinner with the close friends at marina south. Had a hard time looking for tables. Lotsa ppl there. Spent abt an hour looking for seats.
Coincidentally, saw my aunt there who was sitting at the table next to ours. What was more coincidental was, i was just chatting with her over the phone in the afternoon & told her abt my re-bonded hair. Was planning to show it to her & then i saw her that very night.
After dinner, went for a stroll, chit-chatted, discuss abt places / things to do for the next few weekends & then headed for home.

On Saturday.
Shopping at marina square and suntec with eileen in the afternoon.
Couldn't joined the closed friends to watch Lakehouse cos BB was in basketball competition. But joined them later in the nite to catch The Fast & Furious - Tokyo Drift. Nice show.
On Sunday.
Caught another movie - Click.
Nice show. Think it's better than Fast & Furious. Went to starhub shop & bought a new hp. Finally decided on getting SE K800i. The camera features is really great.
In the evening, changed & went for jogging with BB. Route was from my house to NTU to NTU stadium and then back home. Tiring but enjoying it esp when i'm doing it with BB who keeps encouraging me to go on. A small acomplishment for me considering the fact that i havent been exercising for ages. Gym sessions are less tiring than running.
Yesterday night.
Impromptu decision to go out for dinner.
So off we went for Pepper Lunch straight after work. We have been wanting to go there for the longest time ever.
Tried the chicken & salmon combo. Yesterday was a short night. The guys went to kinokuniya for awhile & then we headed for home.
I'm quite used to having Diane as my companion back home. So i guess i will be missing her once she leave us to go back to US.

Last thurs nite was with the gals for dinner @ Marche to celebrate Jo's Bday.
Followed by drinks at TCC @ Citilink. A cool place to chit-chat & people-watch. Had organic fruit tea but din like it at all.
Good weekend spent in JB with the close friends.
Had brunch at city square first before watching 'Lady in the water' which was a boring show. After movie, went straight to the new shopping centre - Jusco. It looks so freaky huge from the exterior. But nothing much to shop cos the things there were kinda ex.
Both YF & i bought a gym outfit from Fila, which was selling at 50% discount. Saw a pair of nice heels but din buy it cos was the last pair. Later managed to buy the same pair but of diff colour at city square, damn happy.
Couldn't resist the Dunkin Donuts from Jusco, bought 12 pcs of it to share. Soo nice. Too much for us to finish, so tau pau a few back to sg. And while on the train back home, we have ppl coming over to ask when we got the dunkin donuts from. haha. She was kinda disappointed when we told her we got it from JB.
Dinner was seafood at taman market. Chilli crabs, clayfish, la-la, fried baby squid, veggies, hao jian, beggar chicken. Cheap & Shiok. Seafood dinner there is really great. One of our must-visit food place.
Went back to city square for another round of shopping. And yes, we still prefer shopping at city square. And expenses & shopping for that day were all on BB. BB is the best!
Traffic at the custom was kinda smooth, 6 of us walked across the causeway cos there were alot of ppl waiting for the bus.
Another great week. Weekends are always worth looking fwd to =)

Re-bonded my hair.
The previous hair was neither here nor there. So have to do it even though i still like my permed hair very much. Trying to get use to the straight hair.
Spent abt $200 in total on the hair, re-bonding shampoo & conditional. First time spenting so much money on the hair cos the previous perms, re-bonding, colouring, high-lighting were all done by my aunt.
So now i'm feeling the pinch.
