Three things on my mind right now:
1. Genting trip with the close friends this weekend
2. Purchase new digital camera using july bonus

Past week was a short one.
With only 4 work days cos i was on MC on wed. Spent the whole day at home sleeping & recovering from fever & flu. And the good thing was.. i've recovered!
Ytd morning, fnally went to the MOE to collect my eng 'O' level cert. Had lunch at holland road, went home & napped all the way till evening.
And evening was out with the close friends for japanese buffet dinner at Otori - Gillman Village. Expensive but food was nice. Sashimi was very fresh, love the soft shell crab the most. We were given a room to have our ala-carte buffet dinner, privacy to ourselves so we discussed abt our genting trip over dinner.
After dinner went Chervons for 2 games of bowling. And i really sucked in it. The second game was better, but still i got the lowest score for both games.
Next two days will be busy at work.
Trying to clear watever work on hand before my boss goes on leave as well as to ensure nothing corks up when i go on leave on the 3rd & 4th of July.
I finished watching Lost Season 2, when is Season 3 coming?
Can't wait.

All good things will come to an end.
Last fri was student's last day with us. Treated them to dinner at one of the restaurant at Far East Plaza. Plans was to go mind cafe but everyone couldn't leave work till it was 7 plus. So we have to give it a miss.
Dinner ended & we went home rather early as few of them have to be at the airport to send one of the colleagues off for business trip.
Past weekend was short.
Only got to spent one day with BB as he needed to be back on the island for duty on sun. No particular places we wanna go so went to Chinatown to eat.
Wanted to bring BB to the famous clayfish hor fun at upper cross street but was closed. So we walked to Maxwell food centre instead. Lotsa good food there. Queue up to ta pau the famous Hum Chim Peng home. Too lazy to take train back so we cabbed home.

I HATE inequality!
Do not take my mum's kindness for granted.
I can't stand it!
Like the other day when this sales lady from some multi-level marketing company came over to my house & keep asking my mum to take up some stuffs. Not gg to go into full details.
Though she keep saying that as a distributor she wants the best for her customers but on the other hand she keep persuading my mum into buying it. I got very pissed off & went out of my room to tell her off. Come on, would you first look into ur own benefits or your customer's interest?
Told her clearly that my mum got no interest in setting up this kinda multi-level business. Can see that she's not happy with me but i really cannot stand this kinda ppl who keeps pushing when my mum have already told her umpteen times that she doesn't want it.
I realised i have not been helping my mum with household chores ever since i started working. Thinking that just by giving them money every month is more than sufficient. But i am slowly helping out again as & when i have time.

It's sad, so sad
Last nite was reading through my previous blog entries.
While looking through i realised how things have change so much over the years.
From the best of friends to friends you meet up once a month or rather twice a month. From friends whom you used to bare your heart to to friends whom you hardly spoke to / understand anymore. From the ppl you wasn't close with to the ppl you hang out with every weekend. And alot more.
So much so have change.
Some for the better and some for the worst.
If only we could turn back time to the good O' days.

We have been itching to go for another ktv session after we went with the close friends a couple of weeks ago.
So ytd we went for ktv at JB City Square. Very cheap & the songs there are newer than most of the ktvs here in sin. With bigger rooms & better ambience, i especially like our room deco which was based on zodiac signs.
Sang for 3 hrs but was not enough for us, still have lots of songs which we have yet to sing. Next time will go earlier & fully make use of the happy hour =)
BB bought a pair of of adidas shoes & surprisingly for me, i did not buy anything.
Ytd nite & the whole of today was spent watching 'The Thief Lord & Poseidon' dvds at home with BB. Weekends are forever so short, tmw is the start of the new work week again. Blues Blues~ And we have one attachment student who is gg to leave us on fri. Ppl come ppl go, quite used to it but still kinda sad cos he brought alot of joy to us, if not to the rest it's to me.

Dinner with the girleys at esplanade ichiban boshi.
Chatted alot esp on relationship matters. I feel that whatever it is in a relationship one has to be true to urself & ur partner. Love doesn’t require two people to look at each other, but that they look together in the same direction. These days everyone's conversation seems to be revolving round marriage, be it my colleagues or friends. Nice dinner & catching up session to update about each other's life and everyone is meeting up more often despite their busy schedules.

Last sun morning was with the close friends for dim sum buffet at Dragon Gate. Had many rounds of dim sum, tried almost all the food on the menu.
A very full brunch we had.
Had a hard time finding our way to boat quay's mind cafe.
Parked at clarke quay thinking it was at that area but ended up having to walk very far. Disappointed with the environment at boat quay, the outlet at Prinsep st is still the ideal place for board-gaming. Played Citadels for the whole 2 to 3 hrs of board-gaming. The six of us kinda hooked on the game.
Ytd night was a short but sweet one.
Dinner with the guys at Breeks Ngee Ann City sorta to celebrate one of the attachment students bday. I quite like the food they serves at Breeks.
After dinner, had deserts & coffee at coffee club. Shared muddy mud pie with FS & IS, nice but NYDC's mud pie is still the best. Planning to go there on our next gathering.
The rest went to get their stuffs on Goh's car while i went shopping with IS. Most of the shops were closed so we only managed to shop at Zara & a few other shops, with him looking at the guys section & me the female section. Saw a very nice fossil watch at wisma which i'm considering to buy.
It's always gd to meet up with colleagues after office hours to bitch abt work.

EM's solemnization ceremony at Clarke Quay - Peony Jade.Another two of her jie-mei & myself went with her to the bridal shop in the morning to help her out while the make-up artist was doing the make-up & hair do for her. After which went down to the restaurant in clarke quay to help set up some of the decos and i also helped in taking photos of the event.Everything went well. And lunch serve by the restaurant was good. Attending ROM & weddings always leave me thinking abt how mine is gg to be like. Can't help it but to feel blissful for her.
After lunch, din joined the bride & friends for BBQ at ECP in the evening. Impromptu decision to go for the gala preview of Cars at the new cathay cinema. New cinema, nice ambience. Took train to meet BB at Dhoby Ghaut. Miss the cocktail session but still in time to watch the movie. Movie was ok considering we have free movie tickets. Walked to peace centre & cabbed home.Will post more pics of the solemnization when i get them from EM.

Shopping & catching up session with eileen ytd evening.
Managed to get a gift for colleague's ROM tmw.
Walked to the bus stop behind taka for #502, waited for a very long time & when the bus finally came it was packed with lotsa ppl. Can't even get up the bus. Went to take train instead & ended up at Newton cos we took the wrong side of the train. Blur. Took so much more time to reach home than usual.
I love this kinda meet-up sessions to update about each other's life.
And thanks eileen for the bag she bought from Phuket =)
After work today, met BB at JP hoping to get another present for colleague's ROM but was sold out. Going to give her an ang pow on top of the present i get the other day. Sharing with JL whom i got to know only recently.
Had dinner at crystal jade tog with his siblings first before gg to trim my hair at one of the salon in the neighbourhood. At first, was still comtemplating if i should cut it, but i desperately needed one so just went ahead.
Actually was quite worried abt letting other hairdresser cut my hair cos all the while my aunt was the one doing it for me. And she knows best what kinda style i want. My aunt's bz so can't get her to help. I wasn't confident of letting other ppl cut my hair and thus the delay in getting my hair trimmed.
So ytd i was cautiously looking at the hairdresser making sure she did not get it wrong. Luckily, still not that bad. My perms are getting less & less visible.

Mac breakfast with the colleagues ytd morning and that leaves me feeling cheery the whole day.
Gd way to start the day with. More mac breakfast in future =) And i had my first interaction with BT after having worked here for more than a year. Candies for the eyes & something to be worth happy-ing abt.
After work, went JP Coslab to do facial & trimming of eyebrow. Ended up signing a 6 session facial package after trying out 1 of the session. Satisfied with the results & thus decide to sign up for it. Shoulder & hand massage was gd, leaving me feeling very relaxed after that.
Can really feel the pinch. Can easily get a new hp or go for a genting trip with that money spend. Told BB abt it but he did not nag at me, instead he was very encouraging. Sounding like i make the correct decision. Even to the extend of paying part of it for me.
Still feeling gulity for having spend so much.
