Too lazy to blog out the details of the parade, so shall let the photos do the talking. Overall, very fun, am so proud to be living in one of the safest country in the world, hopefully there won't be a time when we had to use the vechices & equipements shown during the mobile column. The fireworks are simply awesome, looking at fireworks can really make one happy. But too bad my cammi not gd enough to shoot nice pics of the fireworks. Think only SLR cammi can capture it but very ex wor. Hai.. When will i have the money to buy tat?
I wanna go & watch the fireworks again during the Singapore Fireworks Festival on 6th & 14th of aug!!!

So scary! Another week zooooom pass just like tat. Weekend is here once again! Ytd & today was rather free at work, so started reading Harry Potter & the Half- Blood Prince which was sent to me in PDF format by my colleague. The funny thing is i din read any of the Harry Potter books before & i din watch the movie as well & yet nw i'm reading one of the book. No wonder there's alot of things which i dun understand.
After work, met dear at JP for dinner & some shopping. Actually wanted to shop for working clothes but can't find any nice one. Saw a nice addidas singlet from world of sports, it was love at first sight! But very very ex, a simple singlet for $39, actually din wan to buy one but dear lah keep asking me to try. In the end he says he buy for me. Soooo gd hor! My dear is e BEST! So bought the top for $33 after 15% discount, Yipee! After shopping went delifrance for dinner. Delifrance has revamp, not only they change the appearance (it's look more classy nw) of their restaurant & also change the menu. But dun really like the food in the new menu, dun look delicious to me. So in the end, i ordered the usual tuna mayo sandwich set.
On another different note, so disppointed with ytd's SuperStar results. Y mus the bad one stay & the gd one leaves, in case u dun know who im referring to - it's the guys team. As for the girls team, i'm beginning to like Kelly more & more. She can really sing very well & she's so pretty, so charming.

Yeah! Dear & i are gg for holiday again at the end of the year. Our 2nd trip of the year. Got few places in mind which i wanna visit:
1) Hong Kong
2) Taipei
3) Thailand
4) Malaysia
Would really love to visit Hong Kong Disneyland but tat would be too ex including accommodation, air tickets & shopping expenses. We wanna go on a smaller scale holiday considering we just came back from brisbane barely 3 months ago. Tat left us with thailand & malaysia, so we decide on thailand cos the only places i could think of in malaysia is KL & Genting. Comparing to KL, shopping in thailand is so much cheaper & then genting got nothing interesting besides casino which i wasn't keen in as well. Shopping is so much more appealing.
Happy~ I will be soo soo happy whenever we discuss bout plans for holidays. I think i'm very much like my mum, my mum is the kind who really knows how to enjoy life, always gg on holidays (considering the countless times she have been to Japan) but she aso work very hard to enjoy all these.
This sun dear is taking leave again, most probably will be gg fishing with xiang & S.ling. Dear is so addicted to prawn fishing these days, me too! This weekend is soo exciting! I can't wait...

Ytd went to Lakeside Fishing Village for prawn catching in the late afternoon. Din really enjoyed it cos ytd dear & i got no luck at all, 3 hours of catching & dear caught only 1 & as for me i caught none. So low morale!!! It seems tat we were there to feed the prawns rather then to catch them. Shiling & ji xiang had nt much luck either, the total no of prawns we caught were 4. Yes, only 4. So pathetic! Then somemore it's soo soo much more ex compared to farmart. $40 for 3hrs cos of some on-going events which allows u to get back some $ depending on the colour tag on the prawns. Ling & xiang got back $5 cos they caught one prawn with a white tag on it.
We caught a total of 4 prawns but went back with a whole bag, abt 30 plus of them. Cos the uncle beside us din want those prawn he caught so all give to us. So gd hor! Brought the prawns to taman jurong sheng siong & ask them to cook cereal prawn for us. Order alot of other dishes like curry fish head, kang kong, hot plate toufu & sweet & sour pork. All tat for $40 only, super cheap hor? Eat till very full wor, din finish up the prawns cos we were too full le.
It's another enjoyable weekend with dear, shiling & ji xiang. We are looking forward to our next prawn catching session but the next time round we are gg to fish in the sea.

Just nw in the afternoon went to marriott hotel with ling, elvin & dear to attend a financial seminar organised by our financial advisers, Juliana & Andrew. Seminar was nt too bad, telling u to save for ur retirement, children's education & things like tat. But it wasn't as intertesting as the previous seminar i attended which was by Adam Khoo. Aniway, this seminar was beneficial for us as well. As usual it's photos again, shall upload the rest of the pics when i get from ling. It's sleeping time! Goody nite!
After the seminar, we walk to far east plaza where we had burger king for dinner. All 4 of us were very hungry. After our dinner dear & i walked to the mrt station as he was feeling very tired while ling & elvin shop at far east. I wanted to go shopping as well one, in the end dear aso acc me go shopping at wisma & taka. hehe *happy*
A piece of very good news! I've got tickets to ndp preview next sat. *yeah* The last time i went to watch the ndp was dun know hw many decades ago, hehe abit kua zhang. Been very enthusiastic abt watching ndp one but always can't get tickets, luckily my bro got 2 tickets. But too bad dear is working on sat, can't ask him to take leave again cos today he already took leave to attend the seminar. Anyway.. ling is gg with me since she wans to watch as well.

It's TGIF! FINALLY the long-awaited weekend is here! This entire week have been very very stressful. Alright, work matters aside, wanna fully enjoy my weekend with dear. This weekend is pretty interesting cos we are gg for another round of live prawn catching.
My brother will be booking out from camp tml. Yes! First time booking out after 2 weeks in army. Miss him so much but when he comes back tml he's sure to nag at me for creating a mess in his room. wahaa haa.This is one of my fav song, been listening to it alot these days.Collide

These days are so stress-up at work, early in the morning boss ask me in for meeting, say alot of things which i totally dun understand at all. Got so much co-ordinating work which i dread the most, always end up working in circles cos we are relatively new dept & there's no one to tell me exactly wat has to be done, who to co-ordinate with & things like tat. I hated tat! It's not gd being the pioneer batch, there's alot of things to evaluate & implement one.
Today my program manager even came over and ask me if i was able to handle my current workload cos he's thinking of handing over more things for me to do. OMG! *faint* I can understand y he did tat cos seriously he got too much things to handle on his own but y me? I got alot of things to do as well, being the only admin staff is really not easy. Everything aso mus do & then get tat miserable pay. Haiz.. Poor me! Sometimes i really feel like quitting but i needed the money to pay for bills & insurance. How? And if i quit then i have to go through the process of searching for jobs, interviews & adapting to the environment all over again. Really dun know wat i wan aso, got so much considerations.
At work there's nobody to share my unhappiness with so i can only whine abt it here. Tml gonna be another bz day at work. On a happier note, dear specially took off on sat to attend the launching of a new financial book at marriot hotel with me.. Yeah! *So happy* Another happy note is, dear is selected to join the Army Half Marathon (AHM) team tat means his posting to another camp will be delayed till the marathon is over.

Just came back from shopping with eileen nt long ago. Met her at chinatown to get my water matrix, FINALLY got it le. Yeah! Bought 2 bottles of it, cost me $70 in all, hehe.. can last me for many many months le. Walk ard in tat area & then took train back to boon lay. Went JP to help my bro collect his shorts, shop ard awhile then went home le.
Nw waiting for dear to finish work & then meet him for dinner. Tml meeting eileen early in the morning to watch free preview of charlie & the chocolate factory.

I'm sooo sooo sleepy & bored at work, got nothing to do. Actually got lah but i'm just too lazy to do any work. Saw a veri nice t-shirt while having lunch at JP just nw. Dun know if i should buy anot? *thinking* My water matrix hair product is FINALLY here! Waited for abt 2 months le. Think i wanna buy 2 bottles, 1 for keeping stock. Hehe. Kiasu me~ This weekend gonna meet eileen at chinatown to get it, gg to spend alot of money on all those beauty products. Argh!! I wanna trim & colour my hair, my hair is so dry & frizzy nw. Dun know when aunt is free to help me do my hair lei.I'm sooo Bored!

Miss the company transport ytd morning, so got no choice have to take bus to office. Ytd was a slack day at work cos boss is on leave. Ard 10:30am took cab from office to high street center to pass some urgent documents to a management company. After which i wanted to find atm machine but couldn't find any nearby so i kept walking & walking aimlessly untill i landed myself at chinatown pt. Amazing! Walk for a very long distance & somemore the sun was scorching hot. Withdrew some money & then took cab back to office. Was so tempted to go & check out if water matrix stock is here already since i was in tat area. But in the end nv go lah, cos was almost 11:30am le. By the time i reach office would be just nice for lunch so went back to office & then my program manager took us out for lunch. Went to canteen 13 at ntu & ate the vegetarian food. Nt bad wor, cheap aso.
After work, met ling & eileen for dinner at ichiban boshi - esplanade to celebrate ling's advance bday. Ling & i reach first so we went outdoor to take pics. Snap! Snap! All 3 of us are sushi lovers, used to visit only sakae outlets untill eileen introduce us to Ichiban. Ichiban have got so much more variety of sushi compared to sakae & the chanwamushi is simply yummy~ Really very nice, tat's the diff between $4.90 (ichiban) & $1.90 (sakae) chanwamushi. hehe. Had our dinner & then chit chat session. Love to meet up with the gals occasionally for gals talk. Eileen & i bought a mini black jacket for ling's bday present. The kinda mini jacket she wanted to get.
After dinner, went on to take more pics & then walk to the newly renovated marina square. Most of the shops already close cos quite late le. There are soo many food outlets at marina square & the entire shopping center appears to be so big & spacious nw. Big untill we couldn't find the way to mrt station. Finally found the right directions & then continue our journey home to the west~

10.07.2005 (Sun) Live prawn fishing at Farmart
Went bugis shopping with dear in the afternoon first before meeting ji xiang & shiling at cck for live prawn fishing at Farmart. Bought a white halter top from topshop, there's another pinky top tat i like but dun have size le. Cos tat design have been on the shelve for quite some time. Then went to the arcarde center, saw a veri nice minnie mouse soft toy. Ask dear to catch for me, he almost got it on the second attempt but the minnie mouse last min slip off the catcher. Wasted man! We gave up after trying for another 2 attempts.
Ard 4 plus we took train to cck to meet up with xiang & shiling & then took cab down to Farmart. The taxi driver very funny one, dun know where is the location then should ask us alight & take another taxi mah, continuing driving then still can show attitude. Luckily dear roughly know the exact location. The weather was very cooling cos it was raining. Went to walk ard the place first before starting to fish for live prawns. Besides food center there's also alot of other shops tat sells dogs, fishes, birds, plants & etc. Live prawn fishing was rather ex, an hour for $13, two hours get 1 hour free. We fish for a total of 3.5 hour & caught a total of 10 prawns. Considered quite gd cos it's our first attempt.
15 mins into the fishing i caught 1 prawn myself & tat was our first prawn of the day.Yeah! The feeling was so shiok man! I caught two prawns while dear caught 3, the rest was caught by ji xiang & shiling. All of us became so addicted to prawn fishing tat we've already plan to go again two weeks later but this time round gg to taman jurong one cos it's alittle cheaper ther. After tat we brought our live prawns to the food center and ask them to cook for us & then ordered other dishes as well. They charged us $8.00 for cooking the prawns & the ingredients. I think it's very ex, cos the prawns were provided by us. Aniway.. we had a SUPER GREAT time there.
After dinner, we walk all the way out, it's was a long way out as it was very far from the main road. Half way into walking, we were lucky to catch a cab which was turning into Farmart. And then it was home sweet home~ A very tiring but happy day! Yeah! We have a new hobby nw but this new hobby is gg to cost us a bomb. Dear i really really enjoyed myself alot ytd. Haven't had soo much fun for a long time le. Thank you.

My little bro went into the army, can see tat both my parents are worried, honestly speaking i'm aso worried whether he can adapt well in army. But still nt so bad lah cos he's posted to dear's camp, so can ask dear to help look after him. Nw tat he's nt at home, the entire hse feels so empty, no one to ask me buy supper home during the weep hours, no one to ask me cook maggi mee, no one to fight over the computer & countless events. Take care bro!

Din get to watch Mr & Mrs Smith with dear on mon cos my stupid boss last min pass me work to do. I've already pack my things & intend to leave office on the dot. He always like tat one, wait till last min when we are abt to knock off then he wans to have meeting or give instructions on work to be done. And then he will be more happy if u dun claim for OT.
I think wat one of my colleague said today is very true, must learn to adapt to the environment instead of running away from it. Tat's precisely wat i'm doing, the thought of quitting comes whenever i encounter any problems or difficulities. I wonder how i am gg to adapt when things are so so complicated in my dept. I despise them & i believe in karma. As for nw, i'm carrying a attitude tat is work & then see how things go from there.

Attended Shirley's farewell party ytd evening cos she's leaving for aust for overseas studies, wish her all the best for her studies. Met up with Franco & Beng outside hello singtel before taking cab there. I reach orchard mrt station at 5:30pm sharp, pass by so many shops tat was having sales on my way to hello singtel. Was so tempted to go into the shops to take alook & then received beng's msg saying tat he will be slightly late. So shop ard at Mango since he was gg to be late, in the end bought a green tank top which was selling at $9. hehe.
We were the earliest to reach shirley's farewell party. The whole nite was chit-chatting session, had fun talking abt the 3 years of poly sch life, how we fall asleep & skip lectures, how some lecturers are just so irritating & all the gd & bad times we had in sch. Those were the memorable days of sch life.
Chatted till abt 10 plus then we took train back home. Journey back home was damn long, toa payoh all the way back to boon lay was no joke. It was almost 12am when i reach home, dear waited for me at the bus stop & we bought satay back home to eat.
