Was on msn ytd afternoon & kaiqin msg me thinking i was eileen. Clarified with her & found out tat she's currently studying in brisbane. So gd! At least there's someone we know in a foreign country, gg over to her place & visit her on one of our free day. Most likely gg to visit her one day before we depart from brisbane, & have 1 whole day of fun at brisbane city area. She can bring us round for shopping as well. Chatting with her got me all excited for our trip to gold coast again.
Went to ikea with ling ytd after her work, ya.. again! It was quite a last min decision cos we were chatting on msn & i told her i wanna get things from ikea. The day before just went there with dear, no choice.. cos i forgot to buy something from there. Wahaa haa.. I'm working on something special for his birthday present, nt gg to review it here just in case he comes in & peep at my blog. It's a 
secret! Aniway.. went to had our dinner at the ikea restaurant first, ate chicken & chips & meatballs again. It was still early so we went to queensway shopping center to walk ard & then took bus 198 home. On the way home, ling & i were discussing abt marriage stuffs, like whose wedding bell will ring first & etc. Seems likes this has been our hot topic recently, ya.. because eileen brought across this topic to us. Think we have reach a age whereby we start to carefully think abt when we wanna settle down, get married & have family. Tat's y the 3 of us had been speaking so much on marriage stuffs these days. Ohh no.. i'm getting older & older each & every day. Everything is gg too fast, all those carefree & memorable secondary sch days seems like ytd only.
Went over to dear hse ytd nite after he came back from work & then we were discussing abt the things we should bring to aussie & who should sit next to the window seat onboard the airplane. Like it when we had this kinda small talks together. Went to roxy website jus nw.. wow! Saw alot of nice bags, bikinis, hats, flip-flops & many more stuffs i like. Not sure if i could resist myself from buying so much stuffs back.. think i'm gg to burn a big hole in my pocket. Wahaa haa! I'm a shopping queen. Gold coast having Roxy Pro event from 1st March - 13th March, too bad we'll be gg only on the 29th march, can't get to watch the event as well as to watch those pro surfers surf. Such a waste man!

This morning accompanied dear to cmpb to settle some stuffs for his bro. This dear huh called me early in the morning to wake me up, had a hard time pulling myself out of bed. Went to prepare myself & then met up with him. Still got plenty of time left after we finish with our stuffs at cmpb, so went to ikea for lunch since we were in tat area. It was lunchtime & the place's crowded with ppl but luckily we still managed to find seats. Ordered 6 chicken wings, a chicken sandwich & a kid's swedish meatballs. Dear don't really like meatballs & the normal ones was too much, so ordered the kids one instead & it's just nice for me. Had a veri full lunch, still got abt an hr before dear meet his friends at bukit gombak so went to anchor pt to shop awhile before we went to take train. Dear went to meet up with his friends at bukit gombak while i headed for home.
This week seems to past so fast, tml is already thurs & friday is approaching. Strange rite? Y am i looking fwd to fridays instead of weekends? Cos fridays & mondays are dear's off days & it's the time dear & i spend quality time together. Still haven't got any plans for this fri yet. Rather boring these few days, haven't seen the gals for quite sometime, maybe should organise a sister's gathering soon.

Shall proceed on with details on how we spend our 5th anniversary together. Spend our afternoon at cineleisure K-box & sang ktv for approximately 3hrs. After ktv went to the Jack's Place opp Mandarin hotel for 
Bliss is the perfect word to describe my feelings now. Ya.. i'm feeling bliss indeed. 5 years is not consider long but it is not short either. We have been though alot these years.. sweet, happy, sad & bad times. Who haven't been through all these in a relationship? These are just some things we experience in a relationship to make it even more memorable & ever-lasting. Had lotsa quarrels with dear at the beginning of the year but all tat are all in the past. I'm gg to leave those unhappy memories at the back of my mind. I'm happy with wat's in place in my life at the moment & i love my darling to bits! Gonna thanks darling for being by my side all these years.
candlelight dinner. Actually nt really candlelight dinner lah cos basically there's candle on every table but still quite romantic. Each of us had carrot & corn soup first & then ordered lobster & crab stuffed mushroom as the appetiser to share among ourselves. I ate crayfish & chicken combo while dear ate grilled chicken for the main course, was feeling veri full, couldn't even finish the main course & we still have desert & tea. All tat for $52.68, a nice romantic dinner we had. Food & ambience quite gd but the place is rather small & thus making the entire place appear to be so packed. The tables were so close together tat we could overhead conversation of the couple sitting beside us. No extravagant celebrations & no flowers cos my dear's nt a flower 
guy but it doesn't matter at all as long as we enjoyed our day together & nothing else matters rite? Still rmb the first bouquet of flowers i ever received in my whole life is from my darling on our 1st valentine day. It was a bouquet of 12 red roses & he specially ask it to be delivered to my office, tat time was still working at starhub. Was 
blushing the entire day.. time really flies, all these seems like yesterday & today we are celebrating our 5th year.

Jus came back from dinner 
at Kinta, din eat much but was feeling quite full. Food's not bad but not much variety, but nvm lah cos got the complimentary buffet dinner voucher from eileen one. Maybe because it's indonesian food tat's y nt very used to it. Square's (another restaurant at Furama RiverFront) food is still the 
best, been there once only.. next time mus go ther for dinner again.
Today's a bz day for my ah ming, he went to Asics warehouse with his sirs early in the morning to get shoes & sports attire. They are entitled up to 40% discount on all sports stuffs, he bought 2 pair of sports shoes, 2 sports attire, a track pants & a shoe bag. Spend a hefty sum of $280... 
Wah! Din knew tat my dear can spend so much money in jus half a day. He said he saw a nice pair of running shoes for me but i ask him not to buy. Firstly is because he's gg to spend more money if he were to buy tat pair of shoes for me. Secondly, if he really buy it then i wouldn't have any more excuse for not gg running & exercising with him, cos i dun have sports shoes so i always used tat as an excuse for my laziness to do exercise. (
hope dear's nt reading this part) My dear is quite thrifty, he seldom spend so much money one but today is exceptional cos he's buying sports related stuffs. He got great passion for sports, tat's y he like his current job & is enjoying it cos it's sports related, so he dun mind spending more. Unlike me, who totally disliked to do exercise or to even pick up sports. But hey, tat's y the opposite attracts rite? Wahaha!
Ok.. back to wat we did today. Actually got plans to go ktv after he finish his shopping one, but dear spend so many hrs shopping at the warehouse then still need to go down to lavender to have his passport photo changed. By the time he settled everything it was already 3 plus le, not much time left for ktv. So decided to catch Constantine at Tiong Bahru Plaza instead. Thou tat's some parts which i dun understand but i reckon it's a 
nice show. Still got 2 movies coming out soon which i wanna watch as well, Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events & Son of the Mask. Saw the tralier jus nw & it looks so interesting. Met ling & elvin at tiong bahru plaza before gg to eileen's hotel together. Eileen jus came back from KL 2 days ago so bought a pair of couple tee-shirts from Bum Equip for each of us. 
So nice of her! (Eileen.. Thanks a million! ) The tees are so cute & is meant for couples cos the two tees are connected. We'll gg to wear tat tee when we are in gold coast & take photos together.

photos in between & after dinner.. photos are with ling, will upload once i get them from her. Left eileen's hotel at ard 9pm then dear & i took cab home while ling & elvin head down to town for 
clubbing. Dear's very tired, been out the whole day so we went home early to rest.

Finally i can say out loud: 
I'm gg Gold Coast for holidays!! Jus finish booking air tickets on SQ website. So happy! 
Luckily there was promo gg on so we were able to get cheaper tickets. $498 per pax, after all airport taxes & surcharges would add up to $698 per pax, alittle cheaper from chan brothers. The flight details & everything are exactly the same but because it's through travel agent tat's y they mark up the price, but this is a norm for travel agent. Thou air tickets are already booked but there's still some problems regarding the payment. The total amt & the amt deducted by the bank does nt tally, 
they charged us $60 over dollars more. But tat shouldnt be the case cos it's stated on SQ website tat there is no service charge. Aniway, have called the bank & told them abt it. Tml gg to fax the transaction record to them & wait for them to resolve this issue. Was so bz calling between DBS bank & SQ ppl the whole afternoon. Everything's settled nw... hotels, land package & air tickets. Nw is really the time to sit back, relax & wait for march to come.

Day, alot of couples would be on the streets holding hands & carrying a bunch of flowers 
on the other hand. This is common sight on valentine day, nt gg anywhere with dear today cos we hav already made an agreement to celebrate on our 5th yr anni instead. So leaving everything to next mon. But dear say later maybe meeting up for supper after his work. Still haven't decided on where to have our dinner next mon. Can't think of any nice restaurant or place for lunch/dinner buffet.

Was having dinner with dear's family at the hawker center downstairs when robin msg & ask us to go over to his hse. Jus like new year eve, din wan to go initially but in the end turns out to be damn fun. Wahaahaa! It was a rather last min decision, so dear went to prepare himself & then accompanied me home to get changed. Shiling & jixiang were already below robin's blk so asked them to go up to his hse first. Then dear & i took cab to robin's hse, was already 10pm when we reach ther. The rest of the ppl were already ther & started playing poker so dear & i joined in. Played all the way till 1 plus then we take a break & had steamboat at robin's hse. Then continue on with our game after our steamboat, was losing initially but then later slowly start to win.. total won abt $28. The big winner was shiling & jixiang, shiling's luck was very gd, got alot of blackjacks subsequently. Play all the way till 3 plus then we headed for home. On the way home, the 4 of us kept laughing & laughing non-stop, cannot control ourselves. Maybe because we won money tat's y feeling extremely happy & then kept laughing & joking among ourselves. Haven't been laughing so happy for a long time already, this whole week of CNY was very very enjoying, first it was new year eve, followed by sightseeing at sentosa & then gathering at robin's hse. Spend our fri afternoon at sentosa with jus dear & me! Bought some food & tibits from tiong bahru ntuc & then went to the bus stop outside tiong bahru plaza to take shutter bus into sentosa. Only to realised tat they no longer hav shutter service ther, it has been moved to harbourfront. So took a train to harbourfront to catch the sentosa shutter bus. First thing we did was to take a monorail ride throughout the island first, the whole ride took abt 20 -25 mins. Decided to visit the Sentosa Flowers 2005 first before gg to Palawan Beach, but in the end we din get to go to the beach cos we were both tired after visiting sentosa flowers. Spend most of our time at the flowers exhibition gg round taking photos, really took lotsa photos, a total of 140 of them. But most of them are candid & natural shots. The entire place is so colourful & nicely decorated with flowers. The flowers are arranged in such a way tat each month of the year is represented by a sentosa flower. Took photos with flowers of our birth month & basically took pics with everything which we think is nice.

08/02/05 (New Year Eve!)
Met up with dear at JP after his half day work for last min new year shopping. Met up because dear wanna get v.day cum anniversary present for me, went to sportslink to look ard, in the end dear bought a pair of sneakers & a windbreaker. The windbreaker is damn cool man, the size is jus nice & the colour is in hot pink. Jus realised tat the things we bought for each other were all from nike. So coincidence!

Had our lunch at long john silver then went home directly. Went over to dear hse at ard 7 plus for reunion dinner with his family. Used to go over to his grandma hse for reunion dinner in the past, but this year they decided to have it at home instead. Had steamboat for dinner again, had it for two consecutive nites, one at my hse & the other one over at his hse. But i liked it! Can get to cook & eat watever i feel like eating. Met robin they all at jurong east mrt at ard 10:30pm & head down to River Hong Bao together. Was reluctant to go at first, but since dear wanna go then accompany him loh. In fact i was quite happy tat i went cos i din expect it to be so fun. It's always fun to go out with a group, cracking jokes together & so much laughter. Below are some of the pics we took at river hong bao, some of the pics are with robin, will upload more pics when i get them from him, esp those group pics. At 12am sharp, the Giant Fortune God in the middle starts to throw golden confetti down & the sky is lighted up with colouful fireworks. Quite surprised ther's actually fireworks this year, heard from the news previously tat they nt gg to place fireworks this year due to the tsunami. But aniway, i enjoyed myself on new year eve, hope to go out with them again.

09/02/05 (First day of new year!)
Felt so sleppy! Had barely few hrs of sleep only, slept at 3am last nite & woke up 9am in the morning. Took a bath, prepare myself then went over to dear's ah ma hse. Bought my mum's hand-made peanut, almond cookies & pineapple tarts for her. My relatives are nt in sg so always tag along with dear whenever he went house-visiting. Abit paisei, always go over to his relatives hse during chi new year. We were the first to reach so we started mahjong session on our own first. Had many rounds of mahjong before his aunties & uncles start to come to his ah ma hse. Stayed at her hse till ard 8 plus then we went home, i went home to bath & rest awhile first before we started on our mahjong session among ourselves again.
