At the wink of an eye Year 2004 is coming to an end in less than 6hrs time & a brand NEW 2005 is coming up. Thinking back this year seems to past extremely fast. Celebrated my 21st bday, graduated from SP, found a new job & worked at Toshiba for 6 months & then ytd was my last day at work. Met lotsa veri nice ppl at work but decided to leave the company for gd to search for a better perm job. But before getting myself a new job, i'm gg to take a long break & enjoy life to the fullest. I'm not hurrying to get a new job, i wanna enjoy myself first.
The earthquake & tsunami on the morning of 25 Dec 2004 left hundreds & many thousands of ppl dead & injured. It's a catastrophe no one could stop. It's heart-wrenching to view the scenes of those vitcims being swept away by the tidal waves & ppl searching for lost family members & loved ones on the news. We considered ourselves lucky to be living in a country tat does not exprience any disaster. With so many donations & aid pouring in from all over the world, there's really a feeling of unity among the people.
Let's pray for a better world & world peace!!

Haven't been blogging for a long time. Nope! I'm not abandoning this blog of mine. My com broke down & i can't access to the internet.
Christmas is here! 
Merry Christmas everyone!! Took half day from work ytd & went to Suntec's marche for lunch with dear. We ordered cream of mushroom, sambal squid, pizza & all time fav- Rosti with sausage. How can we not order rosti? It's our must order dish whenever dear & i visit marche. 
Its our fav! Crispy on the outside & soft in the inside & then top with sour cream. Simply delicious! After lunch, went to shop ard suntec city while waiting for eileen & ling to finish work. Was still very early, so went to coffee bean for coffee. Collected our honey baked ham from carrefour before taking shuttle bus back to raffles city to meet up with the gals.
Went to had dinner at a place near eileen's hotel. The food ther is very ex man. In the midst of our dinner, a lady from jurong west KTV called eileen & told her tat they still hav available rooms & each person was only 12+. Ling even asked eileen to call again to confirm the price. Since it was so cheap, we decided to spend our nite at the KTV. After dinner, we walked to eileen's hotel to collect the log cake which we ordered from her hotel as well as to cancel the booking we made earlier on at the waterfall lounge.
We head all the way back to jurong's KTV. When we reach the place, the lady told us it's 12+ & an additional $12 cover charges for each person, which she nv say on the phone. She insisted tat she did told eileen tat ther were cover charges. U see, gg to KTV to celebrate xmas was our initial plan, but we find it too ex to spend $30 or $40 dollars for 3hrs of KTV. So we put off the idea of gg KTV. Now she says thet there are cover charges, it's as gd as back to our old plan. And somemore, we came all the way down then she say all these shit. Felt so cheated man! 
So in the end, we left the place, dun wanna let her earn our $. Even if we really wan to settle down at KTV for christmas eve, i would rather go k-box or some other KTV places. But we got no mood to go KTV anymore. Really spolit our nite man!! But i din let tat affect my mood at all.
In the end, we went to west coast park to spend our nite away. It was a peaceful & quiet nite at west coast i should say, no crowd, no noise & no human traffic. Found a place to settle down & had our log cake, honey baked ham as well as our gift exchanging session. I received a camera bag & a photo frame from eileen & a bag from ling. After our gift exchanging session, we packed our stuffs & headed for home. Was feeling veri tired on the way back home, was out for the whole day. Poor eileen was sick, hope she recovers soon! Aniway.. gg to see the gals again next week for countdown to YEAR 2005!!

Can't believe it!! I actually had Sakae Sushi 2 days in a row. Had it with dear on fri nite & then ytd with ling & eileen. Was sooo surprised when dear agreed to hav sakae for dinner! U see! Dear dislike to eat sushi alot & then he agreed cos i wanted to hav it so much. Aniway.. fri was a bad day for me, dun wish to speak abt it anymore since it's over.
As for ytd, actually din hav plans to go west mall one. But then dun feel like gg home after work so last min ask ling they all out for dinner at westmall. Yup! We had sakae for dinner.. Eileen was so blur ytd, she happily went to cck & called me to say tat she cant find us in sakae. So funni! She told me she was at the entrance, i was at the entrance at well but she was nowhere in sight. Then she realised tat she went to the wrong place when she asked me whether westmall was in cck.. Haha! It was so coincidence tat the sakae at cck was also on the 3rd level. Went to shop shop ard westmall after our dinner. Ling & i each bought a top from osmose.. gg to westmall to collect the top again some other day cos ther's no more new piece already. It was raining veri heavily ytd nite, eileen's gg orchard to meet up with her colleagues. We were so blur ytd nite... at first it was eileen who went to the wrong shopping center & then it was Ling & i who board the wrong side of the train. Tat means to say, Eileen also boarded the wrong train. She boarded the train which was gg to je while we boarded the train which was gg to orchard. So silly rite?
Spend my whole day at home today editing my new blog skin. Finally finish editing it, had been using my previous skin for a couple of months already. Wanted a new look for my bloggie, so here it is!! This pinky skin! I've decided.. i'm quitting my current job at the end of the month & then take a long break before searching for a perm job. Yeah!! Holiday r on the way!

Ytd was the day man! Eileen celebrated her 21st B'day at Furama RiverFront Hotel. The day which i was so looking forward to. 
I reallied enjoyed myself sooo much ytd nite, the same goes to eileen & ling.
Met up with ling at ard 12 plus at jurong east mrt station before gg to eileen's hotel together. After ling park her car at the hotel's carpark, we went straight to the function room (jupiter) to tak alook at the settings. The stage, buffet tables were up but the table settings & deco still not ready yet & the place is alittle messy. So ling & i helped out alittle. Ling & i were always the first one to know the latest updates of eileen's Bday, the first one to look at her funtion rooms & even the first to sign on her guest scroll roll. Haha!! 
At ard 2 plus we went to the lingerie fair opp eileen's hotel & then had our late lunch at the back of concord hotel. Had hokkein mee & hor fun for our lunch & then went back to furama to help out with other stuffs. All the settings were ready, only left with the deco. David made a arch full of pink balloons to b place at the entrance of the door. We tested the slideshow which consists of photos of eileen, her family, relatives & friends which is gg to repeatly show on the LCD screen on stage. And most of the pics has got ling & my faces in it. Everythings ready so the 3 of us went to the toilet to changed into our pretty clothes, i helped eileen straighten her hair while ling helped her with the make-up & eileen's colleague helped to style her hair. Eileen's so pretty!!
The function room is so beautiful after everything is set up. Like the entrance with the pink balloon arch & birthday banner the most and tat spot had became the hot spot for taking photos. Apart from ling & i, eileen's parents & sis were the first to came & then the other guests starts to come in slowly. I was the camera men helping eileen gg round taking photos of her guests 
YA! Took lotsa photos man! Dear, ji xiang & shiling came together, i couldn't stick to dear all the time cos i hav to go round helping eileen tak photos. Later in the nite, dear's bro also came to the hotel to join us. Poor eileen din get to sit down to enjoy the food, she's has to go ard entertaining the guests. At ard 8 plus, eileen cut her birthday cake & little Chelsea, her cousin went up to the stage & sang her a song. So sweet! After finishing the cake we slack awhile at the hotel then dear, his bro & i took a cab home, was abt 10 plus when we reach home. Overall.. i think eileen's bday was a sucess! Though ther wasn't any entertainment but it was FUN! I din eat much ytd nite, dear says the hotel's food was delicious 
Eileen's bday is over, the next event to look forward to would b Christmas 
& our gift exhanging session. Got to scratch my head real hard & think of wat present to get for ling, eileen & my dear. HoHoHo! Santa Clause 
is coming to town! Woohoo! My dear cousin, Shin is coming back to sg on the 15th Dec. Going to pick her up at the airport, cant wait to see her man!
