Got soo many things to update but din hav the time to do it. Here's everything in one shot.
Sat (27/11/04) 'SITEX' IT fair
Went to 'SITEX' IT fair on sat late evening. Dear finish work at ard 7 plus then i took cab from clementi interchange down to his camp to pick him up first before gg to expo together. It was already 8pm when we reach ther, only left with 1hr to walk ard. Eileen, david, ling, her bro & elvin were ther as well. I bought a 512MB flash drive, been wanting to buy tat long ago le, nw finally bought it. Dear bought a Creative Muvo mp3 player cum FM receiver cum flash drive, Quite worth it wor..got alot of functions. Hmmz... i wan a mp3 player as well. Everyone ard me has got mp3 players, both my bros has got themselves ipod with 10 & 15GB of storage space, even dear has an mp3 player. I also wan one!! A cheap one from Creative will do. Each of us bought something at the fair. After all the shopping, we went to the central near my hse for dinner & then call it a day.
Sun (28/11/04) Mini Steamboat Buffet at home
Sun was a fun & tiring day. Met up with eileen & went boon lay market at ard 10 plus. Had kway chup for breakfast at the newly furnished hawker center & then went to the market to buy food for our steamboat. We bought lotsa food, veggies, crab stick, sliced sheng yu, 1kg of prawn, hotdog, chicken fillet & etc. I think we kena cheated by the man who sell us the sheng yu, one small packet for $5. So ex! After marketing, we went ntuc to buy the rest of the food stuffs. It was so much cooler at ntuc. Took a cab back to dear hse to prepare the soup first. We added chicken bones, ginseng & a pinch of salt for the soup base. It taste soOoo delicious man! Really veri nice!! Somemore we din add any MSG at all. Credit goes to eileen cos she she was the one looking after tat pot of soup while dear & i prepared the other food. We let the pot of soup to boil while eileen & i went back to my hse to scan pics. After all the scanning, we went back to dear hse to start our mini steamboat buffet. We ate 3 rounds in total. Veri full man! Dun know y it taste extremely delicious mayb because we cook it ourselves. I dun think it wil taste jus as nice if it was cook by someone else. Though i was veri tired but i did enjoy the process of cooking & eating. Eileen left dear hse at ard 6 plus. Dear & i continue eating steamboat for our dinner. There's still quite alot of food & soup left uncooked after our dinner.
So no choice.. had steamboat for dinner again on mon nite. Met up with dear after work & went jp ntuc to buy some veggies & fish dumplings for the steamboat. It was already veri late after we finish our dinner, wash the dishes & clean up the kithen. Was so tired tat i fell asleep the moment i lay on my bed. Spend abt 50+ on the food for the steamboat but i think it's quite worthwhile cos we enjoyed ourselves & somemore we only had this kinda steamboat once in a blue moon so it's okay. Though it was tiring preparing the food & cleaning up the kitchen but it was FUN!
Mon (29/11/04) Matured & responsible person
This morning i call dear umpteens times on his mobile & home but he din ans. I called him to c if he overslept. I was so worried when he din ans my call. I thought something bad happened to him at home, cos his alone at home these few days. So i went over to his hse to hav alook, he wasn't at home but i found his hp lying beside his bed. Mus b in a rush then forgot to bring his hp. So brought his hp with me & diverted all his calls to his friend's hp. Now dear promoted to senior instructor (SI), dun hav to take IPPT for those re-service ppl, got the authority to assign work to his fellow PTI. haha.. So gd! But it wasn't easy job begin a SI. There r lots more responsibilty & so much more things to take care of. Can see tat dear has become a more matured & responsible person nw. Been meeting dear to & from work these days. Like it when we go to work together, will always prepare an extra set of breakfast for him & then feel so contented when i see him finish up the breakfast i made for him.

Friday is finally here!!! This whole week seems to past so slowly, packed with lotsa work to do. But luckily the other temp gal is back from holiday le so i dun hav to help her with her work anymore. Sometimes i think to myself, mayb she's not as bad as i think, mayb she do hav a gd side. Aniway.. i can't b bothered, since i'm not gg to stay ther for long. Din hav any programmes tonight though dear is off today. He's meeting his friends for buffet dinner at Rice plate. So i went home straight after work, went jp to buy Deli potato & Tom Yum popcorn shake home. Yummy Yummy! Simply love to eat the deli potato from Delifrance. Both dear & my fav! Suddendly hav cravings for mache while i was at work today, havent been to marche f or quite awhile already. Though it's ex but dear & i dun mind spending abit more on gd food. Haha.. we love to pamper ourselves!
I'm alone at home at the moment, everybody went out except me but nvm dear's coming back from the dinner soon. Gonna meet up with him later, havent seen him much this whole week. Dear stil got many leaves not clear, he says he gg to sell some of them & then use the $ for holiday. Holiday again!! Mayb gg in jan after i quit my job bah. Shouldn't get too excited at the moment. Tml gg to the IT fair at expo with my dearies friends, actually dun wanna go le cos eileen & ling's bf gg as well then i wil b their lightbulb. But dear jus told me tat he will b joining us after his work at ard 6 plus Super happy tat he's coming with us! YEAH!
Sun will b a veri exciting day cos we'll b having steamboat at dear hse cos his parents & sis r gg for cruise. So we planned to having a mini steamboat ourselves. Initially only dear, me & his bro having steamboat one but eileen wans to come over to my hse to scan some pics, so i invited her to our mini steamboat buffet. Ling & elvin was invited as well. They will b coming over to dear hse in the afternoon, so dear & i will go & buy the food for the steamboat in the morning. Looking forward to sun!!
Can't wait for next sat to arrive! Next week gg to b an excited week as well cos eileen gg to celebrate her 21st Bday @ Furama RiverFront. Ling & i gg to b real busy tat day.. ling will b helping out at the reception while i will b her camera-women gg round helping her capture down beautiul memories of her bday. Been waiting for her bday to arrive, first time attending bday celebrations in a hotel.

Good news!
I typing this entry on a virus-free com nw, my bro manage to fix the virus. But the strange thing is some of the alphabets on the my keyboard cannot be entered. Dun know wat happened aso. With so many new virus coming up so often it won't help even if u hav strong security or even lastest version of anti-virus software. Many virus r designed in such a way tat they could escape through the scanning of anti-virus sotware. Luckily i choose computer & network security for my eletive in poly so got to know abit of security stuffs. Oh no. . sidetrack already, back to wat happened ytd.
Went to change my passport photo at Lavender early in the morning. So many ppl ther man, but it was quite fast cos they opened many counters. Then met ling at bugis before gg to causeway pt together, actually wanted to go JB to collect our specs one but end up din went. Elvin & evan helped us collect our specs since they r gg into JB. So ling & i went back to causeway pt to hav our lunch at long john silver first before gg to orchard to meet eileen. Shop ard at orchard then went suntec city to collect my heels from charles & keith cos the other outlets all out of stock le, follow by PS to collect ling's ebase top & then last destination was to citybayview hotel for thai buffet. Wow!! 
Really went to lotsa places today, been travelling here & there. Ting treated us to thai buffet, food ther is rather spicy, thai food mah of course is spicy. I cant really take spicy food but overall the food ther still considered not bad. Had a veri full dinner!

Finish dinner at ard 9+ to 10 then linlin & shuying went to the nearby 7-11 store hoping to get a cake for yenting but end up bought a tub of ice-cream cos they couldn't get any cake ther. After finishing the ice-cream.. eileen, ling & i went to take the train & headed for home, the 3 of us r sooo tired 
after all the walking, while the rest of the group went for clubbing.

Finally got time to sit down & write a decent blog.. My com was down with virus few days ago, my bro is gg to do something to it tml & hopefully it recovers. Met up with my dearies friends yesterday for dinner at sakae sushi again. Always had sakae sushi with them whenever we meet up, cos the 3 of us simply love to eat chawanmushi. Went to get yenting's bday present first before having sushi at hereen. Haha.. All 3 of us wanna sit next to the belt. So when the waiter ushers us to our table, we were like running to our seats. So childish rite? We created some unwanted attention but it was fun. So guess who's the one who got the corner seats? It was ling & I, cos we ran faster than eileen. haha. But in the end ling gave up her seat to eileen. After dinner.. it was abt 9 plus le, most of the shops were closing. Went to take sticker photo at the neoprint shop before heading for home. Notice tat we don't hav time for shopping whenever we hav dinner at sakae sushi. Reach home at ard 11 plus then quickly went for shower & finally went to bed at ard 1 plus. So tired man! Been meeting up alot these days. Like it when we meet up regularly, it brings our friendship so much together. Cheers to our friendship!!
Tml's gg to be a long day for me! Got lotsa places to visit. Going to ICA to hav my photograph changed first before gg to kranji to meet ling then gg in to JB to collect our specs. Gonna meet eileen after we come back from JB for shopping at orchard & suntec. Follow by dinner in the evening to celebrate yenting's 21st bday. Wow! Wow! Can't imagine gg to so many places in one day. Oh no.. my leg is definately gg to ache. More updates coming up soon!

Day 1 (13/11/04 SAt)
Went malaysia (JB) with dear to spend our long weekend. Reach sg custom at ard 12 plus, was crowded with ppl but luckily ther wasn't much ppl at the malaysia custom. Everything was smooth & fast. City square shopping center was our first destination. HAd our late lunch at marrybrown, the food ther not nice at all. Terrible lunch we had! Din managed to get anything from city square cos the things there is not really very cheap. In the end, bought a slice of royal chocolate cake from coffee bean for our supper. Yummy! Yummy! The cake is so rich in chocolate. So delicious!
Went to check in at Puteri Pan Pacific which was merely 5 mins walk from city square. We din made any reservations but luckily theres still hav rooms available. At first, we were given a room on the 13th floor, a nice room with gd scenery but i din feel gd staying ther (mayb because it was on the 13th floor, omg! How could i be so superstitious?) So we asked for a change of room, we were given a room on the 5th floor. Although it does not hav nice scenery like the first one but i feel extremely comfortable staying in ther.
Our next destination was to Plaza Kotaraya, which was jus beside the hotel. Omg! So disappointing! There wasn't anything to shop at all. immediately left the place & took a cab down to Pelangi. Bought 2 tank tops ther, one is for xinyi (dear's sis). Hope she likes it. What is worth mention is our dinner at Pelangi Secret Recipe. Yummy! Had a SuPeR great dinner ther. We ordered Grill black pepper chicken set, spaghetti set & choco sundae. All these yummy mouth-watering gd food for $19 sg dollars. Super shiok! After dinner took a cab back to hotel at ard 8+ to rest. Ate our chocolate cake, took photos & then i had an early nite while dear stayed up late to watch soccer.
Day 2 (14/11/04 Sun)
Set alarm clock to wake up for breakfast at 7:30am but end up having breakfast at the hotel restaurant(newsroom cafe) at 9:00am. They din hav much variety of food ther, din enjoyed our breakfast. After breakfast, went back to our rooms to pack our stuffs & rest awhile. We extended our check out time to 1pm. Still left with few hrs before check out, took cab to Holiday Plaza for shopping. Cab was our only means of transport cos cab fare is very cheap over at malaysia. Dear bought a pair of Oakley sunglasses at Holiday Plaza, has been longing to buy tat for quite sometime le. But WOW.. it was sooo expensive man.. Rm 798, after discount was Rm550, which was abt $240 sg dollars. The cheapest price among other shops ther. It's alittle cheaper then wat we get in sg bah. It was almost time to check out, quickly took a cab back to hotel, pack out things & check out. Went to city square for one last time, had our lunch at a chinese restaurant then it was home sweet home. There was a long traffic jam at the causeway, got caught in the jam for more than half an hr. Then finally reach sg & tat's the end of our short holiday trip. Though it's only for 2 days & 1 nite but it was an enjoyable, relaxing & fruitful ( cos dear bought his sunglasses) trip for the both of us.

Went malaysia with ling ther all ytd. Omg! Din enjoy myself ther man! At first still feeling ok then start to feel abit of headache while we were in the spectacle shop. Our main intention of gg JB is to make specs.. yup, i did made a pair of specs & bought 1 yr supply of contact lens. The contact lens we bought in JB were considered very cheap.. RM180 only which cost abt $80 sin dollars. It cost abt $120 if we were to buy in sin. My headache was getting from bad to worse while we were shopping at city square. Really feeling very terrible man. I think it's because i din eat bah, only ate a slice of bread in the morning before gg to meet ling they all at kranji mrt station. Then we stayed in the specs shop for almost 3 to 4 hrs trying on specs & testing our eyesight. Din hav time to hav a light snack. It was due to all tat tat's y i'm having such terrible headache. Oh ya.. while we were in the specs shop, i tested my eyesight. OMG! Now both my eyes r 6.25 power. Cannot believe it man! Used to be 5.50 power only. Now i really got to take super gd care of my eyes le. Dun wan to let it increase again. Mus let it rest more often, then mus try to not wear contact lens for long hrs.
Actually we din shop much at city square cos really got no mood to shop & futhermore my headache is killing me. So went back to evan's hse to rest awhile before we set off at ard 7pm to a kelong style seafood restaurant to hav dinner. Evan & Elvin helped me bought some panadol which helps make my headache subsided abit. The journey to the restaurant wasn't easy, we hav to go through a very dark & deserted small road before reaching the place. The whole journey took abt 30 mins.
I din have appetite to eat anything. Although the food looks so delicious but i really dun feel like eating anything. Ate a few mouthful of fried rice then feel extremely uncomfortable, then feel like vomitting. So quickly went to a basin to vomit. Feel so 'xing ku' & at tat pt of time how i wished dear was with me patting my back & sharing my pain. Felt so much better after i vomitted but still got no appetite to eat anything. Guess i miss out all the gd food. haha. I was feeling so terrible tat i really feel like crying out loud. As we were abt to leave the restaurant, dear called ling's hp cos my hp got no reception & he couldn't called through. Wah!! Upon hearing his voice hor.. i broke down in tears. I dun know y i cried, i cant control myself. So after dinner, evan drove us back to the custom. On the way, i slept for awhile in the car. After i woke up i feel so much better, the pain seems to hav gone away le. I dun know wat happened to me? Y am i having such terrible headache? I din wan it also, i wanted to enjoy the trip as well but i cant. I hope i din spoil my friend's day.

Spend our sun afternoon at west coast park flying kite & taking photos. Haha.. Thou it was only for a short while but it was rather fun. Ling came over to pick me up first before gg to eileen's place. Went over to the supermarket at eileen's place to buy some snacks then proceed on to west coast park. Actually we din really fly kite cos we couldn't get the kite to fly up into the sky.. haha. So we gave up. It seems easy but it's actually quite tough. Well.. mayb we din knew hw to do it tat's y seems tough bah. Cos other ppl managed to get their kites flying high high into the sky. The weather was just sooo fine! A great day to be out in the sun. Thou we were spending most of our time in the shade chatting away but still feel great to b out enjoying the sun. Sun is setting & eileen hav to b home early for dinner with her family so we left for home at ard 6:45pm. Ling send each of us home first before gg home herself. Really got to thanks Ms Eu(ling) for driving us ard. Yeah.. hopefully next time we can still go out together in this kinda outing.

Annual dinner & dance is over.. A memorable nite to remember! Took lotsa photos, shall upload them onto fotopic once i got the other photos from jasmine. Below are jus some of the photos we took ytd nite.. more photos coming up soon.
Spent alot of time waiting for cab & plus the slow traffic along the expressway, it was already 6:50pm when we reach the hotel. On the way.. went over to jasmine's place at depot road to pick her up before we head down to the hotel together. Function starts at 7:15pm, din hav time to play games & take neoprints which were part of the pre-dinner entertainment. Did managed to take the free neoprints cos the queue was long. Each guest was given a jacket as the door gift. The jacket's quite nice but too bad it's 'M' size.. so gg to give it to dear & let him wear on raining days or even to genting. Not all really dressed up for the function, though most ppl did but some wore causal. I din really enjoyed the dinner cos my colleagues & i were walking here & ther taking photos while waiting for the food to b served. Not very satisfied 
with the photos i took last nite but nvm jus take for fun & for memories. Helped my dept manager take photos, happened to see the photos of his baby
gal in his camera. His gal soo cute man! A cutie japanese gal.
Few of my colleagues went on stage to collect their long service awards.. 10 yrs, 15 yrs & even 20 yrs. Wow! 
I really cannot imagine myself working in a company for sooo many years man. Can't imagine hw it is possible for them to stay in ther for so long. During intervals of the dinner, they would flash the winning lucky draw numbers. Lucky jasmine won herself the 24th prize 
which was a DVD player. Considered very lucky already.. first year working ther then won lucky draw some ppl work ther for 10 over years till nw nv win anything. 2 other colleagues from my table also won lucky draw but it was i think 60th over prize, which was a rice cooker. All prizes are proudly sponsored by Toshiba. Of course muz b from toshiba lah.. japanese so particular abt using their own brand. Futhermore.. they dun hav to buy the presents jus take from company can already 
haha. Guess wat's the 1st 
prize? A 43" projection TV won by a lady from another dept. Woohoo.. She muz b happy till siao. So lucky man! But i would prefer the 2nd 
prize which was 2 air ticket to Japan.
At ard 10:45pm it was the end of the dinner, but it was only the start of the dance. Of course jasmine & i din stayed for the dance. She already had difficulty carrying the DVD ard let alone to say gg for the dance. So after the dinner we went to cab home but the queue for the cab was very long so we went back to the hotel lounge to wait for the queue to shorten as well as to rest our feet. Finally 
got a cab & then headed for home. Overall.. quite not bad loh. A gd exprience fer me! Can't say tat i enjoyed it alot cos din feel extremely happy throughout the nite. The food at meritus mandrain still not too bad.. i would rate it stars out of 5. End of D&D & Happy 30th Anniversary To Toshiba!!
