The day before someone called my dear & told him tat he won some lucky draw. The prizes r 8 days 7 nites stay @ Phuket or Koh Samui & a watch. We both believe it is some promotion method tat tricks u into gg ther to get the free gifts & then ask u to sign up some membership & things like tat. I nv thought of gg down ther cos all the while i do hav a negative mind abt this kinda lucky draw. Dear told the lady tat we r not gg down. But today.. she called again & persuaded my dear to go down to get the prizes & assured him tat no purchase is needed. She sounds rather sincere (tat's wat my dear said! If she were to called me, i would definately turned her down, without even having second thoughts) & then we got trick into gg down to international building which is next to shaw center.
Alright!! The true story 
begins here..
Right after my work, with a tired body & an empty stomach i went to meet my dear first before gg ther. Thou we knew tat we won't b so lucky to hav won the prize but we just wanna go ther & hav alook. There wil be a 1 hr presentation & then after tat we could collect the prize. I did saw a couple waiting to get into the room as well, then later on more couples came in. Then finally it's our turn to get into the room, din knew tat ther were already so many ppl in the room & the whole place is so noisy 
. So a lady did a survey with the both of us regarding our travel patterns & ask some questions regrading travelling & things like tat. So??? 
Wat exactly is she trying to sell to us? She din go straight to the pt but she kept saying hw great it is to go travelling when u pay fer the hotel rates at a veri veri low prices & then with over 4000 hotels ard the world registered under their company we would be able to enjoy alot of benefits & discounts & aload more of rubbish...
Thou it really sounds attractive but it's meant fer those ppl who goes overseas regulary fer business or those rich ppl tat goes travelling so often. I personally think tat i could simply get a cheaper hotel rate myself then the rates she mention. And her membership sounds so unrealistic man 
!!! Membership fer 83 yrs.. hey come on! I'm already dead by then so wat if the membership is transferable. I dun think i will still rmb tat i hav such a membership after sooo many yrs. While she was explaining abt her membership, my dear interrupted her & ask her hw much exactly is the membership. She was saying she has to let us know all the benefits before she could tell us the price. Then when my dear asked her the second time, she got pissed off & then said it was $8800 fer 83 yrs of membership & fer 20 over countries lah. Thou some of the countries included are like europe, malaysia & etc, but some common ones aren't included. So we told her we not interested loh.. so ex! Crazy ar 
! Futhermore.. we dun go travelling so often, so y do we need tat fer? YA.. really got the watch & 8 days 7 nite stay at one of the 2 holiday destinations, which is valid fer 1 yr. But mus go & listen to tat stupid presentation once more at the hotel upon reaching thailand. Omg!! Not again 
! But aniway.. dun think we gg to use tat free hotel stay vouchers cos those 2 places are nt places we intending to visit. So finally.. end of the presentation, lasted abt 1 hr.
Had our late dinner at ard 9. Actually.. wanted to go Heeren's marche fer dinner one but was too hungry & tired to walk all e way down to Hereen. So in the end, we settled down @ Taka's Crystal Jade fer dinner 
. Ordered mushroon & chicken congee, Fried E-Fu noodles & Dumpling Noodles. Such a nice dinner we had!

Dear & i went Suntec's Marche to hav dinner in the late afternoon. This is the 2nd time i went Marche fer dinner, the first time was with my starhub's colleagues many yrs ago. Quite like the environment & concept ther. We ordered pizza, rosti with sour cream, sambal squid & grill chicken. Yummy!!! 
The sambal squid is soooo delicious.. spicy yet so shiok! Both of us eat till veri full. After dinner.. went to shop ard suntec awhile before we rush home to catch ch 8 7pm show.
Today's aso a busy day at work but time passes by veri fast. I hav got tonnes of things to do, i really hope my colleague can help me with some of the work & not pushing more work fer me to do man! Since she's staying back to do OT, i wonder y can't she do the work. Hey.. come on! I did all my work during normal office hrs u know? And i managed to finsh each day's work. It's so unfair u know? She's doing lesser work & getting more pay. Haiz.. hope ther wil b a better tml.

23 Sept (Thurs) Preview of 
'New Police Story'
Went to catch 'New Police story' starring Jackie Chan, Daniel Wu & Charlie Young @ Lido. Met ling at eileen's hotel first before gg to Lido together with eileen & her boss (Mr Zul). While waiting fer eileen & Mr Zul to knock off.. we went to the WaterFall Lounge to hav some cocktails 
. Yup.. drinks are on Mr Zul. So after both of them finish with their work, Mr Zul drove us to Lido. We did saw a couple of celebrities ther.. Jus to name a few of them.. Fann Wong, Daniel Wu, Fiona Xie & etc. Then later, jus as the show was abt to begin. The local celebrities, Jackie Chan & Daniel Wu came into the movie theater. The local celebrities took their seat, while Jackie Chan & Daniel Wu went on to promote their movie. Nope.. both Jackie & Daniel din join us fer the movie, they merely came to speak a few words to the audience. So after the movie (which was like 11 plus already), the 3 of us took a cab home. I went over to dear's hse awhile, cos he bought supper fer me. So after supper, i quickly went home to bath & then get ready to sleep. . It was already 1:30am when i finally lay on my bed. Got to wake up at 6am in the morning. Oh no.. oni had less than 5hrs of sleep. And then today is aso gg to be a long day. "New Police Story' is a gd movie & definately worth watching.. Thumbs up fer this movie 
. Fer those who hasn't watch this movie, i strongly recommend u to watch it. Last of all.. got to thanks Eileen & Mr Zul! Ling & i wouldn't hav the chance to watch this preview without them.

24 Sept (Fri) Dinner with dept staffs
Had buffet dinner with my dept staffs @ Hua Yuen restaurant in Grand Plaza Hotel. Yup.. Both my dept & section managers (Tobari-san & Wilson Yeo) were ther as well. Both of them has got sense of humor & no
airs at all.The food they serve in the restaurant is still consider okay loh but it's rather ex. Dun really worth the price. But overall.. quite an enjoyable nite, at least get to know my colleagues a little better. Oh ya.. both my managers thinks tat i look veri much alike to my other colleague, even my GM thinks so. Thou i dun feel the same way but i guess i hav to admit tat both of us look alike. More than 5 ppl in my office had told me so & some even mistook me fer her. Maybe can go ard telling ppl tat we are both sisters or maybe even twin sisters.Haha. After dinner, took a train home. Going to hav an early nite cos tml's gg back to office to do OT. Got tonnes & tonnes of invoices to submit to finance & the dateline is on mon. Hopefully i wil be able to finish all my work tml. Goody Nite!

Basically, nothing much to mention.. went over to dear's hse to accompany him & then later in the afternoon head off to Orchard fer shopping. Oh ya.. went to the bank today to get a new passbook fer my savings acct, then a consultant came over to talk to us abt some savings plan. Waste my time man! But in the end my dear aso signed up fer the plan loh. Quite gd lah.. can save $ fer the future. We finally set off fer shopping at ard 2 plus. Went to shop ard taka & far east, but din bought anything. Then went taka cold storage to buy bacon stick recommended by ling. Yummy!! So delicious!
This week seems to pass veri fast.. tml's wed already. Yeah! Weekend is approaching again. Mayb bcos i din work today, tat's y feeling so. Hopefully.. ther won't be lotsa work piled up on my table when i go back to my office tml. Thinking of gg to eileen's hotel restaurant (the square) fer international buffet one last time. Her hotel's changing management.. so square wont b staying fer long. Going to ask ling ther all if they are interested in gg ther fer buffet dinner. Tat's all fer today.. shall blog again some other day.

Well.. went over to ying's place at yew tee fer her 21st Bday celebrations last nite. She celebrated her bday earlier, her actual bday is on the 27 sept. Happy 21st Bday to U Ying!! 
I welcome u to join us in becoming 21 . Time really flies & age is catching up with us. Lets c who's wedding bell will ring first.. haha. Reach ying's place at ard 6 plus then waited fer our other friends to come along. Ling din attend cos she has got dinner with her family. Surprisingly.. ying's dad still remembers me.. he muz hav rmb me as the skinny gal who dun eat much.. haha. Used to go over to ying's place to study 
overnite fer our 'Os'. Ya.. tat was ages ago. Poor Ying was sabotage by her relatives & friends during her cake cutting session. Not once but umpteen times. Nooo... We wasn't invlove in the sabotage, we were all veri well behaved ytd. Thou we used to do tat when we were much younger. Din took much photos ytd nite.. so not gg to upload them onto my fotopic.
Ying was busy serving the other guests, so we sat ther chatting & updating each other abt our current lives. Well.. heard from jo tat her previous dance teacher is setting up a dance company in sg & jo gets to dance again. Felt happy fer her.. dancing is her dream & she's able to pursue her dreams once again 
She might be gg to spain fer an audition as well.. Tat's a veri rare & gd chance! They were chatting abt plans fer the future, which makes me think more abt my future u know?? It's kinda scary to think abt the future.. Dun know wat kinda jobs to look fer, no goals in life & lotsa other fears.. My colleague is asking me if i wannna continue working at Toshiba. I'm still considering & i dun know if i wan to stay on as well.. I'm SOO confused! Most of the ppl urge me to stay on at Toshiba fer 1 or 2 months & then search fer a better perm job while working temp ther. YA.. I think tat's the best solution.

16 Sept (Thurs) *Rainy day*
Met up with eileen & ling at suntec city fer dinner @ sakae sushi as well as to get ying's present. Ling & i went to the food festival @ suntec convention ctr first while waiting fer eileen to come. We proceed on fer dinner when eileen arrive.. had a hard time finding the sakae sushi restaurant. As usual, we ordered sushi to share among ourselves. After dinner, went to get ying's present. Wanna keep it a secret 
. Can only say tat we bought something from Bodyshop & it's something special. I think ying wil like it bah. After we bought her present we decided to call it a day & then headed fer home. It was already 11pm when i reach home so quickly went to take a shower & blow my hair dry. Then fell sound asleep the moment i lay on my bed 
17 Sept (Fri) *Fine Day*
Was sooo tired when i went to work this morning. Onli had 6hrs of sleep, which was definately not enough fer me. So drank a bottle of chicken essence before leaving fer work & it really provides me with the energy to last throughout the day. Today's a super boring day at work.. basically nothing to do, jus waiting fer time to pass. Jus now after work, met up with my dear at jp & went to Pizza Hut 
fer dinner.We ordered the new Otah Otah stuffed crust pizza.. not as good as we think. Still prefers all time fav 'Hawaiian Pizza'. Bought a super mini skirt from OP, luckily there's this shorts underneath the mini skirt. So it doesn't really matter whether it's mini anot.. haha. Well, tml is my dear's off day 
Finally, he's off on sat. YEAH!! Going over to ying's place fer her 21st bday party together with my dear.

Yeah! We FINALLY made it to east coast park. 
Was sooOo happy man! Dear's working till afternoon, so i met him at clementi then head dw to east coast park together. On the way to east coast, the sky grew dark & then it began to drizzle. Oh no! Felt so disappointed at first but luckily the rain stop upon reaching Eunos & the sun's 
out again.. haha! A great day to enjoy the sunshine & the sea breeze.
There were lotsa ppl ther.. we found a gd spot, lay out our mat then place our stuffs under the shade of the tree. Dear fell asleep 
under the cool sea breeze, while i sat ther enjoying the beautiful scenery & munching the tibits & sandwiches 
we brought to the park. I think we sat ther fer more than 2 hrs. Actually wanted to go cycling one but it was rather late already.. what a pity! 
It will be much more fun if we went cycling. Din get to watch sunset as well.. but nvm ther's still plenty of chances in future. So we pack our stuffs & then get ready to go home. Jus as we were abt to leave east coast, we found out tat actually there's a free shuttle bus which ferry passengers from east coast park to suntec city or plaza singapura. So we hop onto the bus & got off at PS.. went to walk ard PS then went back home.
A nice way to spend our weekend together.. The feeling is like back in the earlier days when we just started dating 
. Hoping to go to the beach with my dear again.. but this time round the destination will be sentosa instead of east coast park. YA! Going to ask more ppl along aso.

September 11, a sad & memorable day fer many 
. An attack tat shock ppl from around the world. 3 years already but i guess the pain is still as deep fer those who lost their loved ones in the attack. All the countries in the region stepping up security esp with the recent bomb blast near Australian embassy in Jakarta. Sometimes i wonder.. 'Is the world really a safe place to live in?' I wonder wat are at the back of these terrorist minds 
. Life is so precious & they dun seems to cherish human lives.
Alright.. enough of the Sept 11 attack, shall blog abt wat happened ytd. Well.. actually was planning to go home after work cos got no activites fer the nite. But received a msg from ling asking me to go outram. YA! Of course i went.. Dun wanna go home so early on a fri nite. So.. ling & i waited fer eileen to arrive b4 we head off fer dinner. We ordered some food to share among ourselves & Eileen treated us dinner. Haha.. Thank u Eileen! 
Basically, we met up fer dinner & chit-chat session.. I like this kinda gathering, thou meeting up fer few hrs only but the feeling is great. Hey gals.. let's hav more of such gatherings in the future 
. Yeah!! Meeting up with them again next week to get ying's present & dinner at Sakae Sushi. Can't wait fer next week to come.

Ling & ms liang having plans to open up a small shop to do business (opps! sorri ling.. i spilled the beans) & ask me if i was interested in joining them. I ask my dear for some opinions & aso thought abt it myself fer a couple of days. In the end, I turned them down. One reason is bcos i dun hav much savings at the moment cos i jus started working not long ago. The other reason is, doing business means no stable income every month. For someone who has jus stepped into the working world & with not much experience on hand. The time is not right fer me to think abt starting up a business at the moment. Futhermore.. it's not easy doing business, esp if it's ur own business. Ther's tons & tons of things tat u hav to personally see to it.
My days in Toshiba Singapore are numbered, which means to say i must search fer a new job soon 
. Actually, i quite like working at Toshiba. Definately not bcos of the environment but bcos of the ppl ther. YA! Ther are lotsa nice ppl, i think i will miss them after i leave the company. Hoping to get a perm job soon after my contract at Toshiba ends. But got no idea which industry i wanna work in leh

Dear's thinking of gg fer a holidae in oct, if not will be the end of the year. No promises were made! Which means we might end up gg nowhere. My brains' working veri hard these daes.. with so much things gg through my mind everyday.. Most likely gg to some holiday resorts at our neighbouring countries to relax ourselves. Dear's definately needed some holidaes since he's working so hard these days.

so place it as my background music for my blog. I dun blog often.. the most is twice a week. So usually when i blog, the entry is gg to be long cos i hav to summarised what happened during tat 1 whole week.
Time seems to pass veri fast at work yesterday. Was in a *happy* mood when i left the office, mayb bcos weekend is approaching tat's y feeling GrEaT! Had dinner at JP Seoul Garden yesterday nite with my dear. Din really like the dinner ther, cos the food they serve are nt fresh & ther's veri few variety to choose from. It's veri ex aso. I would prefer having dinner at Sakae Sushi! haha.. Sushi again! But dear won't wan, cos he dun like eating sushi. After dinner, accompany him to cut his hair then headed home & had a early nite. What a boring nite! Should be feeling extremely happy today cos dear's nt working, but today is also gg to be a boring day like last nite. Actually feel like gg to East Coast Park since he's off work today. But i think he would prefer staying at home instead of gg out. Haven't been to East Coast Park fer a long long time already. I miss cycling & watching sunset.
Hopefully.. ther wil be activities later on bah. I dun wish to spend my sat at home.

Alright!! Went Causeway pt with my dearie jus nw. Luckily.. din hav to stay at home on a sat 
Finally bought some stuff using the Metro vouchers ling gave me on my bday.. haha. Stil left with Levis voucher, which is expiring in oct.. hav to go & get some stuffs b4 it expiries. But dun know wat to buy leh.. dun wanna buy jeans cos i've got enough jeans already *Haiz* When the time comes then see hw bah. Had our late lunch at Mcdonalds then went to walk ard causeway pt. Not much things to shop @ causeway pt, so we went cold storage & bought some chocolates & campbell's instance soup. Then we headed fer home separately... I hav been sitting in front of the com from evening 6+ till nw, cos my 2 bro are nt at home. So i'm free to use the com fer as long as i wan. It's been a long time since i use the com fer such long hrs. Taking my own sweet time surfing the net & writing my blog
